Yep, new Focus loaded 25 to 30K, new turbo focus loaded several thousand more.

Lots of decent vehicles to choose from, in that price range, methinks.

Yep, the ABS, Stability Control, Yadda-Yadda added as standard features for the '10 Focus are there for one reason; to dump the old Focus platform ASAP, by driving '10 sales upward.

Sure, makes for a nice package for '10, but watch the trade-in value plummet, for even the well-equipped '10 models, when the new stuff hits the market here.

Old Foci (2010) will be nothing but chunks in the stools of new Foci, for years to come!

Charles

25-30k for a FOCUS? several thousand MORE for a turbo focus? thats like $42,000 for a focus. i think at that point i would either buy a lancer evo. or maybe just a new buick

lol where did you even get this information ?

Where do you get several thousand = 12k?

I would think 30k would be about the limit for the price of a Focus...thats really encroaching into loaded Fusion territory. Why don't we wait until prices are announced to start the pricing debate?

Just finished listening to Cars.com's podcast.

The guys talking actually think the Focus can top the 30K territory.

Say,

Where will the new gasoline powered Focuses be built? In Mexico?

As far as I know it's being built in Detroit.

So is there no conventional manual transmission. I won't ever own one.

Every official press release via Ford has said 6 speed manual option. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be saying that in every release if it's untrue.
