^^gotta agree. My first impression of the ZX3 back in The Day was, "Dung beetle". Obviously, I don't feel that way anymore. Only time will tell.

That being said, what's with the Volvo-esque tails on the hatch?

new guy here...instant solid fan of the new Focus...will strongly considering buying this baby by the time it's officially released to the market here in the US

I have some questions

1) Is that really the aircon control console besides the gear shift?
2. Can anybody comment on the rear seat legroom of the 2011 Focus? It looks pretty tight to me.

europe is being selfish.. they need to introduse the rs in america already! i read in motor trend that they might.. if they do, i'll be one of the first to buy! :D but the 4 door wagon there giving us now is just a zx5 with a fancy new look... i want the stock turbo!! :D

Those do look like the A/C controls, but it's just speculation.

Using the speaker grill on the left passenger door, I'm going to guess that as deceiving as the pic looks, there's probably a good 7"-9" between the seat backs and the rear bench.

Everyone IS entitled to their opinion... and i agree that we all can't just whine to ford. They're not gonna be able to make a single car that pleases all... the truth is, if the new focus isn't what you wanted... try something else!

Thanks. But I'm curious on one thing...I'm not really that all (around 5'7)...I drove a Euro spec Focus before (5 door) when I was still living in Manila..although I never tried seating on the rear seats though.

Is it true that the rear seats was one of the weak points of the Euro spec Focus? Somebody told me that his knees tended to shake after going for a long ride while seated on the Focus' back seat.
