Red eye?

Whats the best way to get the red out of eyes in a pic?? without making it look fake

photo imaging software such as photoshop...or take the picture to wolfe camera or one of those photo touchup booths at wal-mart or walgreens

i would use MS paint, unless someone tells me how to do it in teh photoshop!!!

oh it's easy... doesn't tj have photoshop?

i think even microsoft picture it has red-eye remover too? (or yeah, those booths GonFishin said)

edit: MS Paint? ^^?? Depends on how close the person is.. I would think that would look fake, but try it?

eckerds, walgreens, CVS should be able to scan the picture and take it out, or they have some kind of pen you can buy that takes it out, just ask a photolab for it they should know what it is, unless their stupid. my manager at the photolab i used to work at, used to use the pen, but i never really saw how it worked :-\

Its from a digi cam.. and I can NEVER get it to stop the red eye.. there is even a function to not have it yet.. still happens..

I have photoshop but have never seen anything for redeye

well, it doesn't have a tool for red-eye specifically. you need to maybe create a new dupe layer and work on that section

The reason red-eye occurs is due to the fact your flash is to close to the center of the lens thus creating the red-eye effect bouncing the light off the eye and back into the lens......if possible try to shoot with out a flash or if there is a setting to help the red-eye use it or what I do, use an external flash since my DSLR camera doesnt have one.....Other wise play with something like Photoshop elements, photoshop deluxe(these two both have red-eye tools which photoshop 6, 7 or CS doesnt) OR another simple user program that has specific tools for fixing red-eye.
