They are 4X4 1/4 wich is the same. 4x108 is actually like 108.5

People see them bolted on why do they ask if they fit?

They're probably just trying to make sure it doesn't take any sort of modification before spending the money on the wheels, or just want to make sure there isn't any clearance issues....Just a guess though.

I know I just find it irritating.

Depending on offset, tire size, suspension, they may or may not rub.

Ford rolled the fenders of the 91+Mustang from the factory to get the Pony wheels to clear. The 91+ front fenders even have a 1" larger wheel opening.

Personally I want to try Fox body(4 lug) Cobra R's for my ZX5.

You know that 93 Cobra R wheels are just painted 94-95 GT wheels right ?

Yes those are TRUE foxbody Cobra Rs, you know a production Foxbody Cobra R (the 1993, which is the 1st pic I posted).

The wheels you put on that link are SN-95 (95, not the 00) Cobra Rs which they make repilcas in 4 lug.

See where the confusion came in.

Ford racing made a set which fit better than the aftermarket version.

I should have specified 95 Cobra R.

I almost had a set of pony wheels with snow tires on them for $50 but the guy had JUST sold them a few hours earlier

I'll get pics of them just for the hell of it, but they're like the OP's wheels :)
