unfortunately no a supercharger wont get you anywhere near the 10s. tom was making over 700whp and 10.95 was the best i know of that car going. however he never really launched the car for all it was worth to avoid breaking axles and other things that can be quite nasty to replace. i think he always used DOT radials as well. with that in mind had he launched the fool out of the car on SLICKS i bet he could have gotten into the 9s but like i said that would likely break the snot out of something. the most ive seen a S/C SVTF make was just over 300whp. i believe launching the fool out of the car with good slicks and suspension setup you could reach 10s with 500whp but you wont get that without turbo or a crap ton of nitrous piggybacked onto the S/C.

get your car to about 2200lbs or so and then sc it or so and then you may get in the 11's maybe 12's

well, the only real way to get to 10's is a RWD conversion unforuntately. unfortunately as said before turbo >> SC for the 1/4

because race car

small motors like ours would be much better with a turbo. Superchargers a great for V8s but not for us since superchargers take power to make it

LETS TURN DIRT!!!!

It depends on what type of racing you're doing.
A SC'd car will be more consistant and easier to drive for a novice. A turbo car will make SOOOOOO much more power and TQ at the same boost level than a SC that it isnt even fair to compare them.

i am sorry but you dont need a RWD car to make 10's. i know a FWD car making 9's. just depends on how big your pockets are. but i really dont think u will make 10's with a s/c with our motors. turbo is the only way to go if you are thinking of doing drag.

depends how much boost you got. if you're pushing 300whp then yeah auto all the way. anything under that and a manual will probably be best.
