i just weighed my car up at my buddy's shop about 2 weeks ago. he gets alot of rich kids with subies and audis that want their cars to handle like they're on rails and he is really good at balancing the weight of a car by putting all 4 tires on scales and changing how the weight is distributed. those scales have to be very precise so i know my weight wasnt off. with me out of the car with a full tank of gas my car weighed in at 2790lbs. fiberglass hood, carbon fiber hatch (dont ask), stock wheels, completely gutted interior, and every plastic undercarriage "shield" that i could get my hands on removed, as well as taking off the A/C compressor. and when i say gutted interior i mean gutted. no carpet, no back seat, no passenger seat, no air bags, no dash, no center console, no nothing. if i dont need it to drive the car then it isnt there. i very very highly doubt your car weighs 2650

His scales must be off? I really dont know where you guys are getting your weights from. Is that just your excuse for the car being slow?

obviously these are base weights and piling on the options is gonna increase this but,
point is unless your sub-frames are made of 1" solid steel your car does not weigh 2800lbs stripped.

but on a serious note. I made it to the 14th spot with a 13.4
Next time i hit the track in gonna run race gas and shoot for 12's.
My 13.4 pass was with 32psi in the tires....better 60',2more psi,110 race gas and i should be able to touch 12's. All stock focus with a roush kit and clutch, Its either gonna go really fast or break...
