Subscribing.

You said pop.
It's soda.

I have had to do similar stuff with mine.
The previous owner of mine must have been 600# and a heavy smoker.

Pop is what you do to a tire or a balloon.

you guys are hilarious

Anyways to begin todays update I would like to say Im EFFING Furious.. upon prepping the seats for the Steam Clean and came across this.......

Driver Seat Pretentioner POPPED (Deployed)
Passenger Seat Pretentioner FAILED TO DEPLOY
-I was in the passenger seat with my belt on

Im taking the Tensioners to a company in Mississauga who will test them, and find out why the passenger failed

Driver Side

Passenger Side

------------

anyways onto the update..

Got the carpet out of the trailer and my hands now feel like a pin cushion from the glass fragments/particles... ye I know cramped Garage but its better then doin it outside XD

Pre-Steam clean

LOL halfway though the carpet and yeah there was something on the lens :P

ooooo all clean and reinstalled ( looks alot better now ) :D

Got both seats and headrests Steamed and came out NIICE :D yeah theres a dark spot on the lower cushion of the passenger side.. thats not a stain its the fabric pulled the wrong direction and still damp.. I noticed after I took the picture but my cam was running low on power so I consolidated the remaining pictures

before bolting them in I took the nasty corroded bolts and used a wire brush grinder to remove the crud on the bolts and repainted them a gloss black (sorry I don't have a pic of the finished results the camera failed to take the finished pic, it was low on batteries)

:( Not to happy right now Ive lost the Factory Passenger side Floor mat.. I found 3 but the fourth is AWOL.. Im praying I just misplaced it
yeah the drivers is showing a little wear but not bad for 9 year old Mats
-got them all steam cleaned aswell

Yummy XD NOT

so in Summary this was done today
-Both front seats steam cleaned, the bases/tracks touched up with paint
-Both Passenger/Driver Pretensioner buckles replaced
-Seat bolts wire brushed and repainted
-Main carpet steam cleaned and reinstalled
-3 out of the 4 floor mats steam cleaned
-New shifter installed
-Airbag Control Module installed
-Lower Center dash to console cowl cleaned and installed
-Cleaned and reinstalled the ducts that feed heat to the rear footwells

That means the seat belt would not retract right? Because if that is the fact then it could be a screwy system. I got into an accident with a deer and my belt (driver) was not retractable and my passenger (girlfriend was in it) would retract and most of the damage was on her side.

Correct those seats came out of my other Focus Wagon ( Wagon 1 ) and the passenger side failed to retract .. when they retract you can see the crushing of the plastic covering around the cables

O.o hrmm did I just stumble onto yet another defect in the Focus ?!?!? I wonder how many more Failed to Deploy ( I gotta go check the scrap yards and see how many they have that were in collisions and also failed ( thats if the seats wern't already taken... Yards in Ontario Canada cannot sell Airbags/Tensioners even if the car wasn't in an accident in case they are damaged.. but being the tensioners are belt mounted I bet they don;t realize that..

Thats a very plausible idea...Kinda freaks me out knowing that my girlfriend could have possibly been hurt more than stubbing her toe..and other than the deer possibly flying through the windshield..
