ne1 race v6 tiburon?
Im arranging a race with my friend who drives an 03 v6 tiburon with only a AEM intake installed, i run a 01 focus zx3 with an AFX UDP installed. Both still fairly stock so to say...anyone think i can'T take him? Any advice besides perfect shifting (we both have manual trannys).

Have you ran at the track? I'm just going from my experience, but the fastest one I've seen at Bristol, ran a 15.8xx. Now the quickest non-SVT Focus I've seen has been in the high 16's...so there is a slim chance you could take him...but dont get your hopes up. Let us know how it turns out.

yeah, i dont think you will have much of a chance, but who knows, he might be a bad driver. And who cares if you do loose, he will always have a car made half-assed by korea or something. (no disrespect to the ethnicity)

i would think that the tiburon would win..............but crazier things have happened............is it an atx or mtx?

I've taken a v6 tiburon gt by 1/2 car. We raced up to about 100mph when he pulled. He was totally stock also. If you've got a zetec w/ only udp istalled, you will not beat him unless he really stinks at driving.

Those v6 tiburons are pretty quick. Honestly if you have a zetec model I dont think you have too much of a chance either unless he misses a gear or something but i say go for it. Its still a race and its a learning experience. Let us know how it went. Good Luck
