Howto tell if Ihave a tune

I bout my 2003 ford focus svt used at the begging of this year feb-2009. I have taken it up to 150 mph befor and the governor did not turn on, some people told me that I might already have a tune, and some people say that the governor is turned off, but if I had a tune people say that my check engine light would not turn on when I have a problem, and it has befor with a o2 sensor code. My question is how can I tell if I already have a tune if there is a way? Please help because if I already have one I dont want to buy a new one, and Im looking into getting one if I dont.

Even if you have a tune unless the dumb tuner turned off the ECL light your CEL will still come on and work properly

There is no real way to tell other then maybe RPM Lim , fans , etc

i thought the svt's don't come with governors??

so if i can only rev my rpms to 7100 do you think thats tuned or doesnt the svt rev to 7100 stock. because thats as far as it goes then the rev limiter hits.
