In all honesty, if you're looking for a drag car, and you're not looking to spend about 10 g's on your car to get into the 13's then buy another car like a foxbody. The focus is a great car, but it's not a drag racer. Either that or invest in a 50 shot of laughing gas and a tune.

believe me I know I am a previous mustang owner. my 96 stang threw a rod so I bought my focus now I just want to get it peppier and 15's would be fine to me. What would I have to do to get my 01 zx3 auto in atleast high 15's?

Start with an intake, an exhaust like a 2.25" then I would go for the tune. tune will probably see the biggest diffrence, cause of the changes to the transmission. Throttle body usually helps with throttle responce so I probably would throw that on as well... Of course suspension mods are just as important. I suppose It just depends on how much money you are actually willing to spend on it.
