weird fuel issue

So, one day randomly my WB was showing like 12.4-12.5... so I did a datalog...

I have .882 in the base table at full load. But the STFT is logging .844 and WB is showing 12.4-12.5 in agreement. Fuel source is logging as 5, which is "Stabilized normal drivability logic - Base fuel Table"... So I don't understand where it is getting .844 from.

Is there anything else I can log to troubleshoot this?

Base fuel is for WOT or open loop , STFT is closed loop idle , cruise , part throttle what you put in base fuel table has nothing to do with the STFT , STFT is set in the MTF if I am understanding what your asking

in open loop the stft reports the target lambda which when fuel source is 5, comes from the base table

my base table has .882 in it, but stft is showing .844 in open loop.

Ok so your talking WHEN in OL , Like John said , set your base fuel as the target fuel but you still have to make actual fuel changes in the MTF to get the MTF to match the Base fuel tables

The wideband is logging 12.4 so it matches what stft says (.844).

before I had this problem, stft was logging .882 and WB was logging 12.9.

My MTF is fine.

The problem is STFT doesnt match what the base table says.

Again this is in OPEN LOOP my closed loop trims are fine up to about 500cts and the rest of the MTF has been done perfectly in the past for open loop (good within .1 afr from 500-900cts).

Tom

That doesn't make any sense to me. Did you mean to type something equivalent to what John said... like maybe "you have to make changes in the MTF to get the actual AFR to match the Base fuel tables" ?

If so, you are misunderstanding Pete's question.

No Pete's misunderstanding what needs to be done..... Pete you need to subtract from your MTF that'll bring your AFR where it needs to be.

John, ill say it again, before this issue was happening, STFT was logging as .882 and my WB was 12.9. The MTF is fine. Now, without any changes to the base table or MTF, stft is logging .844 and WB is logging 12.4. So as you can see, my AFR is where it is being commanded.

The problem is that the value in the base table is not the commanded AFR, even though it is logging fuel source 5.
