hmmm... i would have to think that they would be???... i know for sure from the specs i can find online that the rod lengths are the same... i would think the rest of the specs would be the same also...

yeah i think i read somewhere he was running a hybrid...but i kept reading on his page and it says he swapped in a complete escort 2.0 spi engine... so i dont know if he was running a hybrid then swapped a complete 2.0 in or just started with the complete...

I'm pretty sure the last motor he built up, was a complete Escort 2.0 SPI. No hybrid, just after market rod's and pistons in a SPI.

Tell me more about the turbo you want to sell.

its not the turbonetics one i had...sold that one already...lol... had someone local that wanted it...wasnt suited very well for my build...actually gave me what i paid for it...so no loss...

this one i think is a ebay knockoff??... don't know any specs on it...its brand new...never used... i upgraded a friends computer...(side business) and he ended up losing his job and money got tight before he paid me... i told him he could pay whenever he got a new job and he offered the turbo up as partial payment till he could get steady with work...

i can post pics if anyone is interested.... and you can decide what it is/isnt...lol...
someone make me an offer... nothing reasonable will be turned down...

Update 4.21.10

Special thanks to a fellow FF member killerb for going the extra mile and pulling his BDR adj. cam gear off his wrecked focus. He went out of his way to pull this part to help me out in my build. I greatly appreciate it! Its great that there's people in the focus community that will come together to help out. Round of applause to you!

Other than getting in a adj. cam gear nothing else really happening as of now...
Still waiting on my "round 2" pistons from wiseco... hopefully this is that last round and it doesn't go on to "round 3"....lol...

On another note... got forced into taking some vacation time off next week so will probably work on some odds and ends on the car until pistons come in... probably mostly cosmetic...interior...possibly my re-wire....

Are you starting to wish you started with turboing a stock motor yet?

nothing new to update still waiting on my pistons...
starting to get a little aggravated with wiseco... thought the communication was not gonna be a problem..well its heading in the dumps quickly... was told last week id receive a call back with more information on the delay... didn't... called back wed nothing but voice mail... with no return... friday called agian finally got a hold of the person i needed and she stated she would have to research where the pistons are and she would call me back on monday...well its tuesday and no call... gonna try and call again tomorrow...

not asking for much...not wanting to rush them or anything... just wanted an answer to see how its going... never heard anything since the discovery of the problem and them stating they would build a new set...just some communication that all is well would be nice...

sorry just my rant... for today...

Update: 5.13.2010

Finally got in touch with wiseco today...after 2 weeks... and lo and behold "supposedly" my new set of pistons were made wrong again... and a new set would have to be made... i think if i had messed up one set of pistons i woulda made sure the next set was right before i started...hmmm... honestly... just say oopps... we forgot to start making your set of pistons... and we will now...
so Round 3 starts today....yay...
