Will I RUB?

I have a zx3 and I am planning on dropping my car either on the eiback or h&r race springs which are 2" drops. I currently have kyb shocks but they are stock highth. I was thinking about getting the tenzo type M rims which are 17 x 7 with a 42mm offset. if i run 215/45/17 tires will i run with the drop and offset of tires?

With that drop and that offset you will probably experience some rubbing issues. You will need a shorter firmer shock to dampen either of those springs if you currently are using GR2's. If AGX's they may effectively dampen the Eibachs but not the H&R race springs.

42mm offset is "iffy" at best.... sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Even with a 1.5" drop a lot will depend on the tire/tread shape (sharp square corners, rounded ones etc.).

Shorter stiffer springs require shorter firmer dampers.
