Another A/F datalog question

I hooked my AEM A/F wideband up to my SCT3 with a modified firewire cable (per several FF write-ups). When I start the datalog monitor directly on the SCT3, I get accurate real-time A/F readings. But if I datalog on LiveLink, the A/F (analog 1) doesn't show any input or values. Somehow the SCT3 isn't communicating with my PC. (Yes, I've assigned a formula to the channel and the box has been checked.)

Any ideas?

does the computer datalog everything else or is there no communication at all? First thing that popped into my head was a driver issue. Maybe trying reinstalling the driver and/or livelink.

are you using XP or vista?

LiveLink is able to monitor everything else except the analog input (A/F) so I think the drivers are up-to-date and working. That's what makes it so strange.

Do you get any errors in livelink when the analog inputs are selected? Have you tried selecting all 4 to see if you get voltage on any of them?

I don't get any errors w/r/t analog signals. I just tried checking all 4 inputs and still got nothing.

I'm wondering if it's somehow related to my settings on the SCT device itself. As I said, I can read the A/F from the handheld when I "start monitor" so I know it's getting signal. It's apparently problematic somewhere between the handheld and the laptop.
