Ah, well. Eventually I'll cut into them to get the outer-rim-only LEDs to work with the parking lights, but MAN is it crowded in those housings. One second too long with a dremel and you'll cut one of the wires by accident. Yeesh.
They ALL are missing that 1 led

Yes, I know.

That's why I said "I did notice that the one LED that doesn't seem to work on all sets..."

Anyone else use a LED bulb for the reverse light? I'm hoping to order a set this weekend, and only want to install once.

I consider using a LED bulb in my reverse lights but found out the brightness of the available LEDs for the reverse was way to dark!. I have the complete LED tail lights installed in my 08 but left the stock bulb in the backup lights. The LEDs just don't light up the back area of the car enough to be useful. Stick with the stock bulb you wont be sorry!

Now that I have these installed, I can definitely say that having only the outer-rim of LEDs on with your parking lights/headlights still yields AMPLE light for you to be seen at night. Just the outer-rim LEDs makes waaaay more light than the stock bulbs. Kind of ridiculous, actually.

Nah, I haven't yet. I'll probably wait for a little while first. I don't have a dremel yet, so I need to acquire one before I try to cut into them.

After having the LED tail lights installed for 2+ years with no burn outs, I have now ordered a second set for a spare. They are cheap in price so why not have a second set!. These LED tail lights are much cheaper than the OEM ones from the dealer so buy 2 sets!
