Turbo focus with nitrous?

Anyone running a turbo focus with nitrous aswell?
I have a nitrous express kit on my focus.

And have had some issues with the reliability of the nitrous...wiring problems, or a bad switch i believe.

SO I have a garret 2554 twin scroll turbo that is both water and oil cooled.
And has a internal wastegate set a 8psi. ANd a bunch of goodies to make it all work....
IC,BOV,MBC,DiabloMAFia,sct7pos switch, deka siemens injectors,Necessary JBA shorty 4-1 turbo header w/ correct flange welded on, a downpipe that bolts right to my aftermarket 2.5 "flex pipe, and 90% of the piping i need.
Once i get a CAI + tap oli pan for oil lines, all i will need is to save money for tuning...gonna be a fun winter project.
With such a small turbo i dont expect much lag.
So i may leave the 50shot on, and switch to a button trigger for n2o(WOT switch+rpm window switch on there now)...for when I want that extra umph, or drag racing.
But for autox i would like to back down to a 20 shot, and run a boost sensor switch that would activate nitrous from 2800/3000 rpm till turbo hits full boost.
SO does anyone on here run a turbo AND Nitrous?
If so how so you have yours set-up?
Did u have it dyno tuned, and what did it make to the wheels?

I have seen a sc'd focus with nitrous.
But I have never seen a turbo focus with nitrous.

Anyone have some experience double "boosting" the zetec?

On a stock engine I dont know that I would run boost and nitrous , Get the turbo kit on and more then likely that will max out whats safe on the stock Zetec engine

I have run both just to say I have done it and the Nitrous kit was experimental and free for a photo shoot

scca doesn't even allow the use of nitrous at all for autocross or any of there sanctioned events.

a proper sized turbo would be all you need to get you going! just don't do like me & go too small. lol I'm getting a bigger comp. turbo in the spring

When u ran the n2o on top of turbo'd zetec....what were you making with turbo?? how much were you spraying?

And I'm sure your right once I get the turbo on, and all the "bugs" worked out.
I will be MUCH happier than I have been with my n2o kit.
Not going for 250+ hp. Just about 30 hp shy of that.

*question...think spraying a 20shot with a smallish turbo stock zetec w/ stg2 cams making 200 hp spray and make 225 total be do-able? and could it be made reliable?

So I got theN2o cheap, with a remote opener, rpm window switch/WOT switch, a bottle heater, and some other nitrous bits.
The seller of the Turbo kit was really close, and I couldnt let it go.
It was TOO good a deal to let it go bye.
And I've been wanting a turbo on my focus since I bought it.
So I got it.

Now Ive been autoxing for a while now.
ANd I dont really need to make over 240/250 hp.
But an extra 80-90 hp would go a LONG way to helping me catch the M3,mustang gt, and the trans am w/ slicks, that beat me at my last PCA autox. With me being 200-300 hp down, what could i do

I havent done a SCCA autox since they got the boot from RIPKEN stadium in Aberdeen MD. They wont let you run N2O but they will let u run with a turbo.
Same as a track. Which is my goal for the spring...turbo'd and racing on a REAL race track.
But i have been to some PCA events that let me run the nitrous.

Even with cams, UDP,TB,IM,...etc AND A GT -2554 turbo... I dont see my zetec making over 210 hp.And a nice flat torque band 230+lft/lbs around 3200-5400rpm.
It isn't the smallest turbo that garret makes by any means, and it is a twin scroll turbine.
So I figured it'd be the perfect size for a autox/track car.
I want lots of mid range and a good amount of top end.

Cant afford a built motor...just a junkyard replacement...that MIGHT (If IM Lucky) get blessed with some forged internals + /or ported head.

Right

AND EVERYONE that replied...
THANK YOU for the good Advice.
Looking forward to running pca autox this sunday.

And really to making 200-220 reliable hp on the zetec, shouldnt be THAT hard.

Well, considering someone made 340whp on a completely stock Zetec, I think you'll be just fine running the crap out of it with 220.

Don't know why you're so set on nitrous. Just put a medium-sized turbo on there with decent spool time, get your 220whp and be done with it. No refilling bottles.

My only thought is you need the spool time to get traction so sell the nitrous kit and put some green back in the pocket for other mods. Besides you could always use the nitrous to cool the intercooler get an electric boost controller and adjust the boost as needed.
