Rear hub nut = 173 ft-lbs.

But, Haynes has been wrong before.

173 ft-bs is the right figure. Ford literature says the same thing.

I always wondered why they don't just say 175. Like 2 ft-lbs extra is going to make a huge difference.
BTW, you'll need a 30mm socket.

235 NM = 173.3 ft-lbs


I suspect that they may use NM for the original design spec, and then just convert and round for the published spec.
