No 6 disc CD in the 2010 Focus???

I just checked the options for the 2010 Focus, and all models only offer a single disc CD player.

Why???

And were the 6 disc players available in the '08 and '09's?

Honestly, now that you can plug in an MP3 player I don't know why anyone would want CD's anymore. Having one small device take over for burning dozens of CD's and having to carry a binder of them is great. My '02 only has a single player, and the only reason I even use it is because I don't have an aux port.

Yeah, I can't wait to buy a new Focus and get Sync. I want the in-dash satellite radio too, so I can get rid of the portable with the suction cup on my windsheild.

I see your point. I don't own an iPod, or an mp3 player.

My 6 disc player plays mp3 CD's. I have burned seven discs, each with at least 120 songs on them. That's over 800 songs. I don't hear the same song for weeks.

But with Sync, you just need a memory stick, and save all your files to that, and plug it into the USB port.

I do something similiar with my aftermarket radio. I have all my MP3s on a SD card, and it plays from there.

In this modern age, disc players will probably be phased out within the next 10 years or so. I use my iPod in my Focus quite often, but have to tune it through FM frequency, so a lot of the sound quality is lost. ARGH!!!! What I wouldnt give to have a USB port in my SVT....
