Is the FC Throttle body worth anything

I want to know from those who have actually installed the throttle body and are not just talkin smack. Did it give you any HP at all and is it worth the money to install with an intake?

Its best for throttle responce. You won't see any HP gains because of other bottles necks.

The more you open up the motor the better it will be. It may not be the best 1st mod but if you open the back up (race header) that what once was a small gain may be larger (FC TB)when combined.

The fc throttle body isn't any larger than the stock one.

euro, you don't know what is going on with the duratec, stay in the svt forum.

LMAO- how about you [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]* and I know more about the Duratec than you no about yourself wise a$$ Complete moron do you think they would make a Tb and sell it if it only gave better throttle response?? My statement meant that it will be effective if you have other mods to compliment the TB. Go back to school aero boy. Oh and what are you gonna make me stay in the SVT forum?? I didnt think soo

listen dude, i have been involved in the duratec since modding began for it, i know what is going on here.

PS, it is only 1.5mm larger than stock.

as far as you knowing more about me than i know about myself, that is one of the dumbest things i have ever heard. i know more about me than anyone.

and yes, it does only give better throttle response because the difference isn't big enough to make any appreciable difference in power.

and guess what, the duratec engines are the future and they are already knocking on the door of your precious svt with only intake, tuned cam gears, and exhaust.

didn't u read the post, the tb is no good because there are other bottlenecks elsewhere in the tubing. You seriously need to read and if you think there isn't shit out there that says one thing but does another thing you are the most ignorant person i ever met...
Stay in the SVT forums..... We don't accidentally reply to your shit, don't do it to us

LMAO - Pity the fools whom feel inadequate. In case "YOU" didnt read I said it is pretty much useless unless you have done other things to free up the motor. You guys skim read and pick out selectively to try to "one up" on anothers post. I didnt accidently reply I thought I would come over and see how the little sisters of the SVT are doin and obviously not well Have fun catchin up ladies the SVT still owns and will do so til you guys blow the warranty and open the motor up for cams springs etc. Animosity runs rampant on these duratec forums. Just enjoy your cars and quit whinning to the SVT guys.
