Ambient Weather and reflashed ECU

I have an 03 SVT that has been reflashed via an SCT Excalibrator with a tune from "hypnotic illusions". That is all that's specified as far as the tune. Anyway, I bought the car in Florida a year ago used with a number of basic mods already done, the ECU reflash being one of them. The car runs superb almost all the time, but I drove it some last winter in WI and it developed kind of a stumbling during acceleration or abrupt throttle input. Even when taking it very gingerly up the revs it sometimes happened. It usually only happened lower than 2,500 or so. I also have a 67mm throttle body. It instinctively feels like it was just being fed too much gas and I'd have to let off for it to idle smoothly again. As soon as spring and higher temps came around the car ran great once again.
I'm wondering if I need a more moderate or flexible ECU tune for it run smoothly in winter. I will most likely garage it during the winters from now on but I'm curious if this problem could be associate with the ECU tune. I'm very happy with it otherwise. If anybody has any input feel free to give it, thanks.

It would be best to change the tune

Say's the guy who sells the most popular tune here. I don't doubt it but any guess as to the cause of the symptoms?

What's on there besides the bigger TB that requires a non-ford "Tune" anyway? It's next to impossible to determine if your "tune" is to blame for the problems, or if it's simply a mechanical problem.

Me.....I'd stay away from any "tune" unless absolutely necessary. Running problems are hard enough to diagnose without adding to the complication. Can you reflash it back to stock? I'd try it and see if any symptoms change. My 2c.

I wish I could tell/help you more I can say that wayne made changes in his tune that were not needed and I dont think he understood what effect all the changed had on the SVT
I would remove the tune and see if the problem goes away , If it does then you know the issue if it does not if you can send me a log of whan the issues happen I will be glad to help

Tom
