So for 40 degrees I won't have interference? Timing it in retard should get it this time, so shouldn't be more than 24 degrees in total? Degreing the cam is optimal but will need to adjust later anyways and feel safer going a little bit at a time and testing. Should get higher crankin comp then.

With the Int cam gear all the way Adv with the VCT Elim you still need go a little further , I have done the VCT Elim dozens of times and have never had a valve hit , keep in mind that your going for "0" on the cam and what your adjusting out is the built in retard the SVT cam has

When you put the plate in the end of the cams the Intake cam has a built in roughly 30 deg retard unlike the Exh cam where with the plate in its "0" the Intake is -30+/- ret

Quick bump/question on this. Looking to do this on my N/A zx3. It will have cat cams and vct deleted. Would i need the svt fuel rail? The list im looking at is SVt head, cat cams, svt intake, and thats it right?

You wont make any more power adding the SVT head , use your head add the comp stg3 cams adj cam gears , SVT header and 3 inch Exh, good tune and enjoy

Well, they say they have reach those numbers and maybe they did but for how long, a tune can be squeezed for numbers and it won't be reliable. A ported head won't give you more than cams, SVT header is all you need.

Good luck with your build and I hope you get there and I hope the top speed intake fits better then the ones I tried to install , there is no header as of last , top speed was a flash in the pan like so many before them

adding the SVT head to a Zetec engine makes no more HP then just using the Zetec head , the SVT head isnt where the gains come from between the 2 engines

" some people " are not doing it one guy says he did it then the SVT was never talked about after the dyno was done , but again good luck

Ok got 240-245psi @ about 28 degrees in advance, didn't raise any after that, exhaust remains in 0, didn't like any retard.
