Are ZX3 and sedan power window equipment the same?

Obviously I would have 2 extra switches for the rear doors that I don't have.
I ask because i can get the parts cheap from a totalled focus sedan, but i'd like to be sure before I spend any money.

The power window motors and tracks should be the same. Does your car not have power windows? Cuz I don't think it's just a PnP install. If you already have power windows then just reuse your switch and just use the motors/tracks off the sedan. You may need to cut and splice some wires, but I doubt it. The connectors are probably the same for the front doors.

Not as far as I know... I thought the front doors are the same. Obviously the rear doors aren't since the ZX3 doesn't have any lol.

are you going to custom fit the sedan switch in your door panel? Cause if you picked up a door panel from a ZX3 with the holes for the power windows, the sedan switch wont fit. Plus if you custom fit the switch into your door pannels you'll still have the cranks from not having power windows.

But as far as everything else goes it should all work no problem.

what i have available is the doors out of a sedan, so i figured it would be just swapping that trim where the switches are

yeah you can do that, but like I said you'll still have the window cranks or the holes where the cranks are.
