I'm having trouble locating the computer on my 2000 Wagon and I need to get the code off of it.

to make it easier you could just hold the trip gauge reset and start the car. When you cycle through the available modes it will tell you the trouble codes that are available

No, I meant I needed to get the code off the computer box itself. I found it so thanks for the information...

probably getting a chip and the company needs the part number so they burn the right program for it. that's my guess
