my new tunner???

i am doing an SVT header,to a reg zetec.

cat stage 2 cams
ford racing head milled 0.0040
larger vaules
crower spring/retainer
essliner cam gears
SVT header
mncews jumper pipe
2.5 flex
ford racing boral svt exaust
65mm TB
livewire plugs/wires
volant intake
terry haint tranny 4.08gears.....
comp clutch
CFM pullies
168wph
158lbs


the guys have been tunning mustang on the SCT/diablo/delta programs
for the past 4 years. do you think thay will be able to tune my focus???

So you have dyno numbers, but are not tuned? How does that work?

I was sent to a Mustang "tuner" as well and they pretty much failed. In the end I ended up buying the PRP and doing it myself, because nobody around here can do it right.

I have to agree , I get calls all the time where they were taking there cars to a Mustang tuner "One of the best around" only to call back needing an engine

the shop is going to do a base run on my currant tune. To get parimiters . i will tell then the redline(7200),alto@WOT,1000rpm idle. i am a little bit nervos.

i am curious how you got the 168whp and 158ftlbs numbers?

Also most will say not to turn off the alternator at WOT on the Focus, Some years ago most if not all of the good Focus tuners were having issues with that.

i got the car tuned buy Steeda. then i call them to get EGR turn off thay said" you can't turn it off" . so what the hell else can i do.

Yeah thats illegal thats why they cant do it. But Pretty much all you can do is get a new tuner...
