SVT to HS?
Some time back, there was a thread with info about the SVTF going to HS. Has there been anymore info about this? Just trying to get a game plan going for next year.

LOL. it's about that age now. Sometimes I wish I was back there. Things were so much easier.
Actually the question was referring to H Stock. ( auto-x class ) |

I would like to see where you saw this. I doubt that would happen. Usually cars get relegated up a class not down. Unfortunately not every car can be a competitive autocross car. The SVTF isn't even considered a competitive car in G-Stock, why would they move it to H-Stock? DSP is a play ground for E30 and E36 BMW's, rear wheel drive is just a better racing platform. The only place these cars would come close, IMO, would be in like EP. But you are fighting against mid-80s Honda civics which probably weight almost 500 lbs less once you gut the car completely.

they should do it.
if you can run a focus ST in HS, why is the SVT still in G. and the discrpeancy gets worse in street prepared. an ST in SP is on par with a SVT in SP speed wise, but the ST get to play in FSP, while the SVT get screwed in DSP (do you know the competition in DSP ?!?, not fun)

Everything I am hearing is a go for HS for the SVTF, but it is all word of mouth. Before I start buying parts for my car, I want to find out for sure.

Won't happen, you will just have another class dominated by the Mini's. They already own two stock classes as it is, H-Stock and G-Stock. Look at the results from nationals for the last 2 years, the Cooper S is still faster then every car they moved into D-Stock. The problem, I think, is that G-stock is a faster class then D-Stock. I mean they are not far behind the Pony cars of F-Stock.
