Put the steelies back on, and had 1/2 a tank of gas, but no other changes. Best run to date.

today i just ran a 16.3 with an auto by manually shifting it in my wagon. but i do have a tune and it is awesome...but i really need the tune from tom. stock intake w/ cone filter, 65mm throttle body, 4-2-1 header, screamin demon coil pack, and steeda tune....oh and all seats out, no spare tire

A lot of people are saying that manually shifting is a bad thing. Have you had any issues with yours? Is your trans stock? What tune do you have?

this is my second tranny. i screwed the other one up by messing around and slamming into the gears. even as a daily driver i use manually shifting...just makes me feel like a manual. this trans i've had for awhile now and it still runs great. the trans is stock. i bought the sct xcal3 from steeda and it's their tune but it's not a great one. i need to get the one from tom soon. when the tune tho i can change how hard it shifts...i make it softer for daily driving but harder than stock and for the track i make it firm. oh and by the way my car with me in it weighs over 2700lbs.

Air up in the back tire , tire and jack out , is all good advise but with the times you have you wont see anything from it just yet

Like stated a tune to change the shift points and PSI would be good and make the ATX safer as the clutches would not be slipping as much , I wouldnt do the Lentech stuff till your making more power

A SVT header , tune , A/F Gauge and some more practice will help a lot

does the svt header flow better than the obx 4-2-1? but i do need an a/f guage asap! also i launch from idle...is that bad? when i power brake around 2500 rpm it's slower of the line and i get slower times

Well, I think I've beat this stock focus as fast as it's going to go. Went out tonight, and fell back some. No changes since last time.('cept trans flush) Had between 1/2, and 3/4 tank of gas.

Removed the Steeda strut tower brace about a month ago. Removed lunchbox today.

Snow tires are on the steelies now too. So, I'll be needing wheels, and tires for next spring.
