Sell your car and buy a Focus with a MTX already. It's got alot more to it than you think. It's not as simple as buying a manual trans for the focus and dropping it in.....

It's been discussed on here lots before, run a SEARCH.....

Basically what I am saying is that if you want a manual transmission focus, it's going to be easier and alot less expensive if you just trade your automatic transmission focus in and get a new car. I have yet to read on here about anyone that has changed their automatic over to a manual for the focus.

Did you run a search on the board? You will find the same answer that I just gave you from several others, all say, trade the ATX in and get a MTX.....

Solaris said something about it before, pretty sure it was him but anyway, you need to buy a whole bunch more than just the transmission (not sure what you all need, like I said, he posted some of the components and there was a "LIST" of engine parts that you would have to get cause they are not compatible with the different transmissions).

As for the cost, it's alot, way over a grand I am betting, hence why I said, trade in your ATX, get a new focus... or a used one....
