only problem with this mod is that bugs and bees get lodged in the mesh. i'll be taking mine off soon for that reason.

im thinking about doing this to my focus but leaving it unpainted.. i think it would look nice against a blue color :)

I think this painted black, looks far better than stock. Non painted stands out a little to much for my taste. But the best part is the price

When I finish the bottom half of my grill and also the back slit in my bumper I plan on painting them black.

Just did mine this afternoon, it was only like a half hour job (+ paint drying time). Here's the before and after:

I really like the look of it, but since I don't have fog lights I'll have to wait till I can find a longer mesh till I do the bottom

^^Cool. It's a cheap mod that makes a big difference in looks. I never did it, but I've seen it in person. LoL just about anything is better than that OEM grill

^^ I'm actually considering taking the grill off the oem part and painting the original grill silver, just to see what it'd look like... or I might just photoshop it and save some time. Either way I love the way it looks and it was CHEAP! $6 for 2 gutter guards and 8 screws.
