Nobody thinking of doing rally should bother planning on converting a Focus to AWD. It's simply not worth the expense. Subarus are way more practical on one's budget if you want to run in Production or Production GT. An AWD Focus is going by default be in Open, and unless you want to never be competitive, it's not a fun way to spend $50k+.

I wholeheartedly endorse McNew's for installing and tuning your Focus.

Your wing would have to be as high as the roof for a real rally look

This Focus did really well for a number of years. Tim O'Neil the owner of the O'Neil rally school in N. H. built and campaigned it very successfully. One of the few cars to have pretty much full national sponsorship from the U.S. Airforce.

All I got out of this thread was this guy wants all show and no go. Worried about stickers and paint, and a big wing. lol. Oh, and mostly to race his friends. Can't forget that part. Kudos to all the other peeps like Geezer and mlb. Love rally. Would love to see your car Geezer.

Sadly the rally car has been sold. When two sons were in college at the same time several years ago, it made it impossible to continue. As I've mentioned before, its far more expensive then I ever imagined it would be (and I did a lot of careful planning and had lots of very experienced people help me as well). It's even more expensive now. I took pictures just before I sold it and have scanned them into my computer. If I can come up with a simple way of posting them I will.

Just upload them to photobucket.com or any available web server you might have. Heck, even email them to me and I'll host them lol
