WTB Focus svt

Hi..

I want to buy a focus svt, but I am new in Gainesville and in the US too.

Some friends tell me, dont buy a car with any dealers ... because some time they arent reliable...

I think look for the car maybe in Orlando or Miami, because in Gainesville is more expensive and there arent so much used car to buy or focus...


What advice could you give me?

I dont have so much money and i dont have a job still but i need a car.. i was thinking about a car around 3000 or 4000 bucks..I dont care if it is a old car but I want a car in good condition 'cause I dont so mucho money to spend fixing the car jeje

And what do you think about a toyota celica 2000 or 2002 year? and what about the GTS, is it faster than svt??.. have I to spend a lot of money to build it with turbo (i dont think put the turbo yet, but i do after i get a job)

honestly if you have no job or any source of income, buying a performance car should be the at the bottom of your to do list. i say buy a stock focus, the only svt's you're gona see for 3-4k are gona be well..well well used or trashed. the celica and celica gts's of that year are going to be hard to find for 3-4k as well for a well working one and w/ my stock svt i've destroyed regular celicas and from a roll on the highway a gts hung w/ me

just buy a used focus zx3 mtx (you'll still have fun).

I doubt a gts just hung with you. A GTS is faster than a svt. But anyways a SVT is cheaper than a gt celica easily. Its a toyota. You pay for the name too. But I agree. If your broke ya get a beater.

It is true, toyota is more expensive.. and honda too, i think than here japanese car are a little expensive about used car... and are goods too.. but some people pay only for the name of toyota jejejee...

How much could I need to buy a good svt?? stock , normal mileage?? about 4 or 5 mil bucks??

I know there are more expensive svt but with some modification...

And what about dealers who sell used car? are reliable? some of them give any warranty at least some weeks??

less you spend now, the more you can spend later. Take it from a guy that did it backwards !!! Now I have some kick ass toys but only a basement and not enough money to finish the top of my house. DOH !!!!

i would say buying from a private buyer could be riskier than just going to a dealer. they usually inspect the vehicles before they sell. but then again w/ a dealer you always pay well over what you actually should

A gt-s only has 180hp to the svt's 170 so if it is faster it's not by much. Find a nice unmodified svt from a private seller and you'll thank us later.
