Unhappy AEM intake/ FS strut bar

Anyone had this problem…

I have an AEM short ram intake and a Focus Sport strut bar and the intake hits the bar every time I shift in the lower gears. I never noticed it until Ford did some work on my intake manifold last winter. The FS bar is holding up fine but the aluminum intake is going to have a hole in it by next summer if I don’t do something.

I was thinking about a stiffer rear engine mount to minimize the engine movement…

sounds like a plan or just get the Cai instead of the short ram

That is good info. I was going to use some foam, but now I think I will try your suggestion instead.
