Bluefront's Own Unique Mods...56K friendly.

The pictures I post are mostly 100K or less......but some of these threads have a lot of pictures. I've done many of the usual mods, like everyone else, but the mods in this thread are mostly of my own invention, and not seen very often......and some are not well received. But they all work for me.

My own white '06 ZX5 SES w/leather seats......you can see a few std. mods here. A "Home Depot" lip, black headlights, corner guards, painted grill bezel, painted lower grill. None of my mods like this are in this thread, since they are relatively common. If you want more info about a specific mod, It might be better to post in that specific thread. As I remember some of my early mods, I might add to this list. Here they are in no particular order.......

Mod 1. Full recline mod for the front seats.

Mod 2. The "Home Depot" side skirt.

Mod 3. Keeping water out of the engine bay.

Mod 4. Custom sill plates

Mod 5. Blinking security light

Mod 6. Front seat repair and modification.

Mod 7. Custom wiper sizing for tall people

Mod 8. A lighted key bezel.

Mod 9. A custom GPS mount.

Mod10. A stealth gauge mount.

Mod 11. Rear seat mod for more room.

Mod 12. A Mazda engine cover for a Duratec.

Mod 13. Back-up light upgrades.

Mod 14. Interior hood lock.

Mod 15. Various interior and exterior noise reductions.

Mod 16. A cabin filter for '05-'07 models

Mod 17. Extra cooling fans.

Mod 18. Steeda SRI noise reduction

Mod 19. Interior trim protection

Mod 20. Various trunk area mods

Mod 21. Rust prevention

Mod 22. Hatch glass trim mod

Mod 23. Rust prevention

Mod 24. Potential water leak

Mod 25. A Back-up Camera

Mod 26. A Dash Mat

Mod 27. Seat covers that fit.

Mod 28. Security Lock-box

Mod 29. Maintenance Mod

Mod 30. Auto-dimming mirror

Mod 31. Rocker appearance mod.

Mod 32. Summer seat covers

Mod 33. "Home Depot" lip attachment

Mod 34. T-Belt replacement mod

Mod 35. Door entry lighting.

Mod 36. Duratec Engine Cover...DIY

I hope all this gives you some ideas......I'll post more of my mods if/when I remember them. More to come.......

^^^^^^Added a few more mods.

I know these mods all take time to do, but most of them don't cost very much. This Focus is the first car I ever owned, that I actually had the time to modify the way I want. And since I stopped working on cars for a living before I bought the Focus, I don't mind wrenching a little, particularly without watching the clock.

I bet that if you bought the car with all these mods already done to it, you'd find more things to mod. :p

Thanks for the ideas!
