Here's a pic, I didn't know what else to really do. Everything stock SE, so not much to try and emphasize in a photo. :P

that is definatly a nice car. and if you start working on the suspension. maybe put in some good shocks and springs it would improve the handling and look. kill two birds with one stone. i dont know if they make very many after market parts for that car though yet so you may need to wait a little while. but good luck man.

thanks on the compliments, I liked this color best too. :P

I was thinking, but not completely sure, maybe putting "2003 DARK ARGENT SVT FOCUS EUROPEAN APPEARANCE PACKAGE 15-SPOKE WHEEL" on her if they fit. (lol @ copy paste) That was one of the things I knew I could look at without drowning myself in stupidity over quality brand names, what/what not to do, etc. etc.

As for suspension, which I'd like to do, I'd have to have some kind of help on which brand, how much I should spend for them, this and that and the other.

Tint is deff. something I'm going to get because it's too hot to be here in the summer without some helpful protection from the sun's UV-uber rays.

Halogen lights would be nice, saw some on ebay and someone posted some sort of site that had them, just need to know if I need to get a whole light kit or what, I'm clueless on that.

Maybe vert doors? I need opinions on that, seeing how there's prolly not many 09's with that on yet, or in the first place. :o

For the interior, that I don't have a pic. of, I'm hoping to get this "wood" dash kit that's carbon fiber. ( http://www.carid.com/product.php?pro...t=46805&page=1 ) That kit, under the real carbon fiber, Black and Blue CF.

And since I didn't get it, ambient lighting from Ford or from somewhere. Whichever either cost me less, or makes me happier.

That's all I've gotten into my mind so far. The appearance is, imo, the easier part of this whole progress, due to the fact that I don't need a brain to decide what I like. For performance, I'd like to get actual help on, like why it makes it better, is it really worth it, will it make a dramatic or slight change to performance, yada, yada.

Question, wth is H.I.D. lights?

H.I.D + high intensity discharge....in my definition they are the lights on most newer cars that pisses everybody off (me included) but everybody wants 'em.

the burn hotter so it requires headlights that are HID approved,

an example would be the headlights on escalades

PS some one can prob explain better than me

They are the same headlights and tails ...

As for the difference between the 08 and 09

the 09 Bumped up the size of the Optional Wheel package from 16" - 17"
09 has a better drive ratio in gears ... not as sluggish as the 08
The HP went from (in crank) 140 to 143 (ooo ... 3 HP for the 09) ... hey every littlebit helps. (TQ is the same)
Some cosmetic changes ... took out some chrome ... smoothed out the Fender (Or shaved to some of us)

And that's it. So the 08s and 09 can share many parts together.

Steeda, FSWerks and CFM have parts for the 08-09 foci

HIDs don't require HID approved headlight housings because they burn hotter, it's because they burn your retinas lol.

Projectors work better with these than when people just throw a cheap kit in stock lights. You'll generally get lots of scattered light and throw it up in the trees unless you aim them straight down.

With your car I'd start with tint, it would help out a lot. Then look at wheels and a suspension. Wheels are kinda hard to shop for with a Focus. Took me a long time to find something rare and different because I didn't want SVT wheels like thousands of other people have lol.

For suspension the FRPP (Ford Racing Performance Parts) kit is an outstanding deal and a great all-around suspension.

Really? Does he have an auto? Or did they change the manual gear ratios too?
