Lug Nut Plugs???

I just bought a new set of 17" rims however they are multi bolt pattern rims. I love the rims but I hate the extra 4 empty lug holes per rim.

Does anyone know where I can get black or painted silver lug hole plugs?
I found chrome caps by Mr. Gasket and I found red caps by Weld Wheels but neither suits my rims.

I'm interested in the responses too,I just ordered mine today and they're the same multi-pattern like yours.
I'm gonna ask my wheel guy too.

What kind did you get..?

This is just a thought, but there was a thread on here about repairing scratched rims that used JB Weld to fill in the nasty areas before repainting.

If you're up for a little DIY, I bet you could do the same thing to your new rims, just plug the holes you don't want and hit 'em with a fresh coat of paint in your color of choice.

I would say the jlb option would work but there may be a minute amount of flexing at those points, enough to say work the ghetto plugs loose. Go with some legit plugs if u can find em, and good luck.

Something like this might be worth a try. They're available at places like Lowes and may need something like contact cement to hold them.

Thanks Geezer I'll look for those at my local Home Depot and paint them.

As for filling in the holes, this seems ghetto shady at best and I would try it if my wheels needed refinishing however they are brand new and I'd rather not risk it. Besides when I'm sick of them the 4x100 bolt pattern will make them easy to sell.
