Seriously, these are the only 3 audio systems worthy of ride of the month nomination? I am disappointed. I don't want to sound harsh but the computer is really the only thing that couldn't be installed buy a beginner audio fan in their garage or any random installer at any major electronics retailer for a few hundred bucks. I have an 9 year old Alpine (7873) motorized tilt faceplate headunit that still works just as well as the indash screens that 2 of the nominated guys have. If the perameters of the ROTM Audio award was for whoever has the nicest looking prefab subbox and indash screen then I wouldn't be complaining. Basically what I'm saying is that the sound quality of the system, not how much you spent on the components and installation, matters . You can build a great sounding system including: replacement of the stock speakers, sub(s), and amplifer(s) for under $1000. I'm not trying to offend anybody including the nominees but that's my opinion.

I don't have any touch screens in the dash or headrest monitors for the cars behind me but it sounds pretty good for what it is. As I mentioned, I have the 7873 Alpine headunit, SVT door speakers, Fosgate P3001 300 watt RMS amp pushing the new Boston Acoustic G2 12" tuned sub enclosure. I wired the car myself which really only consisted of routing the amp wiring through the firewall, mounting the amp under the drivers seat, and hiding all of the wiring. I will be at Focusfest and I'm sure you will hear it for yourself if you are there.

Also FYI, the 12" Boston Acoustic G2 sub (including the carpeted & tuned enclosure), a 300 watt Alpine mono amp, and a single amp wiring kit can be purchased for less than$600.

I haven't been on the site much lately. Most of the Texas guys on here are members of TexasSportCompact.com also, but probably will be checking the board from now until FocusFest for any updates.

well unfortunately this running is kinda a bust (no offense zx3 chick or the nominees your all awesome) BUT in theory this running was for best audio system, not most expensive system, not most high tech, not the best looking but for best audio so without sound clips it kinda rules itself out and it automatically gets turned into a popularity contest basted on money, time, and looks with a touch of knowledge and skill
