Did the H9 bulb plug into your factory headlight socket/harness?

h13 came with the factory head lamps but h9 is in the after market head lamp. there is only one light output in both (i went from a single reflector to a single projector)

What I meant to ask was, did the connector that orignally went into the H13 factory bulb, plug into the H9 bulb without modification?

yes everything is plug and play, there's a connector for the headlights that plugs straight into the harness

exactly, i went and took these pictures.

the red arrow is the previous h13 connector coming from the car, it is electrical taped because i broke the tab off the stock connector accidently.
the blue arrow is the h13 connector going into the head lamp
the green arrow are those cords going into the headlamp where it is wired to become the h9
the white arrow is the cover over the bulb to prevent moisture from coming in, then the wires from the green arrow come through the housing to there, where it meets the hole that has the h9 bulb going into the h9 base. no modification needed!
The second pic is what it looks like with the black cover off.
The third picture is base opening with the headlight taken out.
hope that helps!
