uhh its needs to reach across the headlight basically from the side marker to the turn signal lol, so i wanna say about 8-9 inches... i ended up buying two rolls of 3ft i think, thats all they had.. i didn't get a chance to crimp anything today because my lil brother was going to prom, so i was running around all day. tomorrow i'll hopefully have good news with pics or a smashed headlight with pics lls

Progress

ok today i tried to get the angel eyes working and it wasn't happening. i tried tapping into the parking/signal harness and still no go.. i tried every combination of ground wire/power wire and nothing. Maybe i was doing something wrong, i have pics so lemme know if you see something i didn't

these are the wires for the angel eyes/ led's. they were supposed to plug and play into the side marker harness but that is not the case.

as you can see the wires are too short to reach the parking harness. so i cut the red thing off lol, and stripped the wires back and crimped them to some wire i purchased (14 gauge) ..

Now these are the wire taps i used to tap into the harness, but still no go

idk anything about wiring those man. id suggest finding someone who did them on the older years halos, or message BradWhite, he'll know how.

Edit: by the way i emailed k2motor again and asked why the cord was so short if it had to be wired across the lamp (i know you didnt get it from them but i am because of the money back guarantee) so im waiting to hear a response. hopefully they can give some better instructions.

I wouldn't use those 'wire taps'. Soldering and electrical tape and/or shrink wrap are much better alternatives if you have them. I suppose this can be viewed as personal preference, but you'll have a better connection with solder.

A test light or a multimeter will help you determine whether or not the lights are getting power.

I'm assuming that the halo's take a 12v connection, so any wire (like the running light) positive should work just fine.

With a test light or meter you can determine whether or not you are actually seeing the power in the wire that goes to the halo. Also, ensure your ground works. Find a known good ground first and start testing.

i'ma test the wires for the led's tommorrow to see if they have any voltage, how else would i tap into the parking harness without the "wire taps" ? i just wanna get these halos working lol

Let me know if you're still having trouble tomorrow. Maybe we can work this out long distance.
