Lightbulb Where there's a will...

...there's a way, right?

So, I've been driving around in my dad's ol' MX-5 Miata lately and I've begun to realize just how sloppy my handling is (comparatively). I've taken turns in that thing that would've put my Focus into the ditch!

GETTING to the point, what can I do to make my handling more like that of a sporty little sporty mic-sporty car? Not to say that my little FoFo isn't sporty; after adding that FRPP suspension and the rear SVT bar, she's much better than stock was for sure!

Also, from what I understand there's more oversteer in RWD vehicles? If this be the case, I think I want some oversteer in my FoFo. Some massive. Massive. Oversteer. (Pretty cool doing donuts in the RWD though! One thing I can't do in my FoFo.. Course if I could I'd be burning through tires even quicker than I am now! (and probably some moving violations too :P))

BACK to the point: Whole new suspension? Bigger bars? Cheap? 'Spensive?

bytheway.

I don't know if you could ever out handle a miata in a focus.

Haha true; but I'm aiming to get as close as possible, if possible.

I mean I want to get the best handling I can out of my Focus either way.
Eventually I hope to have the best everything in/on my Focus. (The best for my personal driving preferences, that is. I'm sure there are a lot of different opinions on what best is for each person.)

The biggest issues you will have to contend with is the focus is a lot heavier and its center of gravity is WAY higher. You'll never get close to the miata on those 2 things.

Be that as it may, I'll still kick his miata's ass in a straight line any day.

And as far as weight is concerned, lol who needs a back seat anyway?

But seriously, I could probably lose some of the weight in that thing if not for aesthetic purposes.. She really needs to be shampood on the inside, too..

Cloth seats

On that note, she did get vacuumed, armorall and wash/waxed this weekend!
