How much HP can you get with a FS turbo kit??

How many PSI can you put in a duratec??

In my country some people say more than 7 PSI the motor can do kabumbbbb??

somebody have 8 psi or more in the duratec without change internals???

You can run 11 PSI safely with the FSWerks Stage 2 kit without changeing internals.HP will be somewhere around 200-220 depending on exhaust etc. on the 2.0 duratec around 240 on the 2.3 duratec.

agree with fx4..

the fswerks kit can produce over 25psi with a boost controller.. on a built 2.0 they made 396whp

But i think 11 is too much to a duratec 2.0 without changeing internals... In my country some peeplo tried that and the motor kaboommb. jjejejeje

I think the duratec is a little sensitive with its pistons and cranks.. :s

you sure its the same 2.0 duratec? what turbo did they use?

11psi is perfectly safe with the kit from fswerks with the gt28r. i dont know of anyone blowing their engine with it.

and our engine is supposed to be sensitive with its rods ;)

Some other countrys used the duratec name for the older engine we called Zetec over here.

Yeah..I think is the same.. the focus is build in argentina and then sent to venezuela... is the duratec 2.0 and has 145 HP.. and before 2006 the focus there had the zetec 2.0..


but i dont know why some people tell is not good put more than 7 psi... :s

or is not the same motor from US despite both are duratec??

Well there are plenty of US duratecs that have been pushing 11 psi for some time without going boom. Next month my focus joins that group of 11 psi foci.

you'll need an upgraded wastegate to run that high of boost. Generally you don't wanna run any more than double the psi that your wastegate is rated for since the boost controller might have a difficult time keeping everything smooth.

on the 396whp car, they used a modified Forge wastegate.
