All your going to get is people arguing over two kits that most likely they personaly haven't dealt with. I'll be glad to give you my opinion on my F2 kit. I won't even say a word on the other kit. Thats all I'll do anymore. I'm tired of bickering over two kits.

I am putting this out to everyone of this forum. If you want my personal experiance with the F2 duratec turbo kit just shoot me a PM. I will give you the straight facts. Some people have already contacted me on other forums about the kit. Anyone is Socal can contact me and arrange a test drive. My car however will be in the shop as of the 3rd of July.

And if someone wants someone's personal experience with the FSWerks turbo kit they can shoot me, or any of the 75+ people who have the kit a PM. I'm sure they'll all say the same thing. Or maybe try shooting the owner of FocusFanatics a PM. He has the kit.

Please this is an informational thread only. No personal experiences or opinions.

Is it necessary to upgrade the intake manifold in order to run a turbo kit effectively? I have a stock 2.0 at the moment and want to make sure before I modify it, I am progressing in an order that wont damage the engine.

no, in fact i recommend not getting a new intake manifold until you are pushing over 15psi.

if you use a intake manifold on the stock engine at 11psi, you will lose some bottom end for not much top end gain.

the cars dyno'd on the first page do not have aftermarket intake manifolds
