So Tom does that look like the wrong housing? I mean that the way the turbo came. I was thinking and changing where the turbo sits is gunna be a bit of a project. Ill need to redo or at least modify my down pipe and charge piping. along with the oil return line wont be long enough. I have intention to mounting the turbo somewhere else eventually but that wasnt in my budget beings i had all the stuff by the time i figured out that it wasnt gunna work quite like i had planned. If we finish tuning the car now and i gather the stuff to put it where it should be will it affect the tuning at all?

wow pulled my thread out of the graveyard lol. I am putting stage 8 locking header bolts on my exhaust connections. Nothing i do stops the bolts from vibrating out. I put a set and a customers gt500 and they work great. once thats done i want to finally finish tuning.

Interesting. I use normal hardware, nothing backs out much. Not even red loctite?

Tried red loctite with lock washers and they just don't stay in. i was thinking poly mounts dont absorb the engine vibration like the stock mounts do and the temps the turbo gets to is over the few hundred degrees that loctite is rated to. hopefully i get the stage 8s in soon.

Ok checked out a pre turbo exhasut leak yesterday and found the custom adapter i have made is cracked. So I want to get it all set up right for spring. Tom you were looking for a exhaust housing that will make the turbo fit a while ago. not sure if you got anywhere or not? If anyone else knows what housing I need feel free to chime in. T3/T4E turbo and SPA manifold. The turbo needs to be angled front to clear the block. pics on previous pages.

Stick with the SPA manifold there is nothing wrong with it and nothing out there for the money does any better

I couldnt find a housing with out more information on your turbo , you would need to remove the Exh housing and get me some sizes

Tom
