Called J&S electronics today. They are closed untill at leaste July 1st. If anyone has a safegaurd and doesnt need it anymore let me know. I really dont want to wait that long.

Been a while, but i have some updates. I got my J&S, installing it this week. Got the turbo mounted with a custom adapter. OIl lines are on, coil brackets is spaced to allow oil feed line to run along the head. Down pipe is started.

Does the adapter give you enough to clear the baffle on the block while keeping the turbo out of the fans??

Where the hell did you find a J&S??? CFM still doesn't have them in stock. Did you call J&S directly? Anyways, yeah, looks like that turbo is a tight fit. Avoid slim fans if you were thinking of going that route.

Yeah thats the other problem. The fans dont fit. The PCV block clears along with the sensor that reads off the flywheel. and the J&S came form CFM. Had it ordered months ago. They made an order for everyone that was on backorder. Contact them by email and see when they will make another order, they were very helpfull. The turbo is a tight fit. And i have been told to stay away from slim fans, but i dont have a lot of choce at the monment. The turbo actually did not fit on the manifold, it hit the block, so we made the adapter and then the fans didnt fit. So slim fans it is for now.

Well it took much longer than i expected but my turbo build is done. The car is currently at the tuner to be dyno'd on friday. here are some pics.
