Not that I have a bunch of experience with tuning, but I have to agree with Tom. A lot of shops don't understand that the SVT is a lot different than a typical Honda or even a Mustang. Even if they're good at tuning Mustangs, it won't mean they're good at tuning SVTs.

I dont under stand why some people cant tune a blow through MAF... its very simple to do.

Im getting the turbo mounted this weekend, and the custom down pipe. Just wandering what type of gasket do you guys use with the SPA manifold to the waste gate flange? more pics this weekend.

I think they're like the turbonectics wastegates where they say a gasket isn't neccisary but don't know for sure with the SPA, you could use some of the 2000 degree sealer that I've seen if you can find one

^^^ what he said. They say a gasket isnt "needed" but when i put my spa on im going to use some high temp sealant just in case the two surface aren't flush with eachother.

When my buddy did his build he ended up not likeing the SPA wastegate at all... the stupid thing would stick and the boost would spike.

1turbofocus makes an adapter that allows you to run a turbonetics Evolution wastegate ... which works infinitly better.

thanks guys. Ill try to find some high temp sealer. I am using a Tial wastegate with a custom adapter.

Ive talked to many ppl about it and i have only heard of that happening on one or two. And everyone else says that they have had no problems out of it. I hope i got a good one.
