SPA wastegate with SPA 5250 turbo. Need WG Spring.
ok guys so im getting really close to done with my kit. i need a couple things here and there.

What size spring does the SPA wastegate come with stock? 8?

where would i get a different one? i want to run probably about 12 lbs to get ~220 whp



also when im done installing my kit can i drive it down untuned to the tuners as long as i try not to go into boost?

no you need a base tune to even start it up with the new injectors and different things. I had my car towed many a times to shops to get shit welded or whatever and told them do NOT start my car yet

no its not. just b/c your engine is built it doesnt mean your ecu knows it has different size injectors and maf housing

Use a boost controller ;) 8 psi is gone be the least boost u will see if u crank up the boost controller the boost is gonna rise

cossie im, cfm 67mm tb, 3" dp, 3" exhaust and custom turbo kit, holset hx35 turbo on 12psi
best 1/4 time: 14.05 @ 102mph 60ft 2.1 on 8.5psi

^^^^what he said. Use a boost controller. I had both a manual bc and an electric boost controller. The ebc from Turbosmart worked awsome. You'll be able to crank it up. Atleast double the spring installed. Also I have a new SPA waste gate that came with the 5250 turbo kit. I never used it. Went with the evo and then the Tial. Let me know if you want it. $25 plus the Shipping.
