This is is me competeing in the autocross in Verona Va over the weekend!I spun out at the start but gained control very quickly!Any hints or comments greatly appreciated!Go to 1.20 in video to get to race they held me longer than usual!

^nice save! were you shifting alot during this run? it looked like your hand was going toward the shifter that's why I ask. I find that in most cases, a lot of shifting just wastes time and momentum, so if you can ring out a gear for a bit longer, your run can be a bit smoother. in many of my runs I hardly take it out of second, unless it's a real slow turn, or I have enough room to punch into 3rd for a bit.

actually i was shifting but it is a automatic!it's rough on it but i had been leaving it in drive and turning overdrive off but it allways shifted to soon so i tried doing it myself and shaved almost 2 seconds off my time! thanks for the advice!id rather have a stick anyday but i do with what i got!

What was your tire pressure bias front to rear? being too low or high will loosen the rear end. Too high will cause more of a quick rear break away.

I used 43 PSI all around was doing reat untill my 4th run when i spun out.. i think i hit a lil bit of gravel and taped the brake at the same time!

^that might be it. I'm assuming you started with 43psi which means after heating up for a couple of runs will go a bit higher. try running about 40 up front with a pound or two less in the rear, and check the pressures after each run to make sure it doesn't get up to high. you want to keep the fronts just high enough that they wont roll on the side walls, but don't slide all over the place. the same goes for the rear, but since they don't undergo as much stress as the fronts in turning and accelerating, they can be a little lower to provide enough grip to keep you from spinning out.
