f2 turbo kit

i was wondering if anyone has ever bought this kit. i am looking into a turbo. not sure if i will get one. i have a 07 dtec 2.0 with header exhaust sri and toms tune done to my car already. just wanted to know the pros and cons to this kit. thanks

Yeah I have the F2 kit. I have around 3000 miles on it now. The parts are awsome quality. Some time next month I'm bumping the boost from 8 psi to 11 psi once I get the new clutch and diff installed. I recommend this kit.

Probly telling them to go with the focus sport kit for some reason. Personally I don't know why people do like to save money on good products.

because the information includes a link to all the turbo info on both the f2 and fswerks kits, but it happens to be on the focaljet.

This kit has an OEM look but offers more than OEM power. WHEN IT COMES TO DYNOS, EVERY DYNO IS DIFFERENT. DYNOJETS ARE DIFFERENT FROM DYNAPACKS, WHICH ARE DIFFERENT FROM DYNO DYNAMICS, WHICH ARE DIFFERENT FROM MUSTANG DYNOS, ETC. EVEN DYNOS OF THE SAME TIME WILL YIELD SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT RESULTS. IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO SET UP A DYNO TO READ HIGHER THAN IT SHOULD ADJUSTING LOAD, CORRECTION FACTORS, ETC. Dyno Information – Dynojets

Both vehicles in the graphs have a 2.0L Duratec Manual Transmission 2.25” exhaust

However F2’s kit IS intercooled 8psi and has a larger throttle body, Focusssports kit IS NOT intercooled 8psi and has the stock throttle body- it is the Stage 1 (the only graph at 8psi available for a 2.0)

Based on the graphs the peak numbers for both kits is very close with Focussport having 8 more whp and F2 having 6 more wtq, but the F2 kit takes longer to build to the power and falls off much faster than the Focussport kit. Also, the A/F on the F2 kit runs a little more lean than the Focussport kit. Even though Focussport's A/F numbers aren't listed on this graph, they go from around 12 down to 11-11.5 over the whole rpm range while F2's remain at about 12 til 7k rpms.

-Again remember that the F2 kit is intercooled and has a larger throttle body installed.
