3" exhaust tune?

Alright before anyone decides to laugh or poke fun... a turbo is going in this winter, and I'm just getting the car set up before hand.... and it is still my daily driver.

I have sitting on my floor:
a 3" trubendz/magnaflow exhaust

Waiting on shipping from:
FocusSport for my Cosi Intake Manifold
F2 for my F2 header

I Know once I get the Cosi Intake Manifold on my car I have to get a tune for it, and I'm going to have to tune out my CEL for the header.

But has anyone done a like set up before? Either going turbo or just running a big exhaust.
If you do, who tuned it and what did you see for gains?
If not can anyone recommend a person/comany for tuning....?
I have an Xcal2 if that helps.

Thanks

If you are going turbo then why did you buy a header?

But yea a 3" exhaust has been done a number of times and would work great with a turbo. Don't know how it will work NA but shouldn't be too bad. And I would recommend Tom for a tune.

Probably not worth spending the money for the tune, unless your fuel trims are way out of whack.

are you building the motor? Cuz it seems like you got extraneous parts that you won't really need for a turbo on stock internals i.e. Cosworth IM, 3" exhaust, tuner w/NA tune. A stage 2 turbo kit will max out your internals with just a 2.5" exhaust and no other engine mods. You could've saved yourself about $1300.

I am building an engine, I'm trying to make a Cosworth Focus. As Much Cosworth as a I can get in the car. Internals, Intake Manifold, ect. The turbo isn't comming untill the end of the Winter so I have time to tear down the engine and rebuild it while it's snowing (not going out in the snow+salt) and intill then the car is my DD and I still like to play with it. Right now I am setting the car up to run as much boost as possible. I have some Focus Haters up here that I am going to play with.
