I did the same thing and have tried different variations or this and have found that this works pretty darn well. i used my stock tubing for looks and hooked a KN filter on the end. I felt a nice difference, noticeable.

All the stuff that attaches to the throttle body is the stock stuff. It is just after the MAF sensor that is changed

To clarify what daveyboy is saying, everything topside looks the same. You are only changing the underside of the intake.

You would have to look pretty close to even notice that anything under the resonator box was different.
