Excellent. I've been trying to increase my dryer's mid-range for a while now. This should do the trick.

I have done this mod the exact same way as the OP, but I used PVC pipe. Do you think it will be fine? Is this setup good against hydrolock? (with splashguard and all inplace)

I have a Steeda SRI but ive gotten sick of it and wanted a change... So I did this for $15 at Homedepot. I used the Steeda filter instead of buying a new one. It is slightly louder than stock, doesn't make too much of that "sucking" noise that the SRI did, and at WOT it sounds great.

I've just read that when PVC heats up it releases toxins into the engine, but where the PVC is down so low it shouldn't heat up at all right?
