really cool project, i like it. just read through it all. i love watching tinkering projects like this.

i would like projectors myself, but from all the research i am seeing, they just have not worked out well for us.

Well if your thinking of HID's at ALL.....projectors are a must my friend.

Just a little update.

Yesterday I finished mounting the TSX projector in the drivers side housing. Got it fitting perfectly with adjustment still in tact. You cant even tell I modded them when I fit everything together. I'm still searching for a set of donner OEM headlight lenses though. This weekend I should be able to get the passenger side mounted. I also still need to get the D2S bulbs and converter cable thingys.

Thank you. I saw your thread in the duratec performance chat about your "secret project" and I was impressed. I can always appreciate when someone puts hard work into something, especially car wise. And my thoughts on the gains of that sorta stuff is if you can feel something different in your car, then it had to do something right! Its just like the Autolite 104 debate for the duratecs.

UPDATE 5/24/2009

Yesterday was a great day. I got the passenger side projector housing mounted. Only took about an hour since I knew what I was doing this time I couldn't be happier with the results. I loosely fitted the headlights back together and you cant even tell I did anything. Now to get the OEM front clear covers and my new bulbs!

Here are both assemblies next to each other.


Here you can see the little stops on the projector housing itself. I have both housings resting flat on these and they fit perfectly with all adjustment still there.





I cant wait to test them out! :-D

I'm just using the housing that came with the aftermarket lights from k2. Let me get some pics up here in sec. Although I do need the OEM front clear covers to the housings!

UPDATE: New Pictures of my progress.























Final things I need:
-D2S bulbs
-D2S to AMP converter cable
-OEM clear covers for the front of the housings
-New LED bulbs for the eyebrows
